Some of the capabilites included in the Chapter Management System 2.0.1 are Member Administration, Category
Management, Leadership team definition, Mailing list,
Resources, etc.
The application can be customized by choosing from the many different templates that are available.
After initial setup, most day-to-day management
tasks are automated, including signing sheets and membership
directory creation, which are updated as the member
list changes.
Member profiles are maintained by each
user, and can be changed as many times as needed.
Speaker's rotation is easy to manage and
maintain, allowing any member on the leadership team
to make changes or accommodate dates and roles.
Creating users is a breeze, just add basic
information about them. A new member will receive an
email with logon information.
A member on the membership list can be
contacted by email through the mailing list component, individually or to the whole directory, making it easy
to pass news or information among the members.
Category management is simple as well.
Select them all, taken and desired, and immediately
you will create your "Most Wanted Category List"
for all the visitors to know. If the category you like
is not in the list, propose it and we will make it available
to you.
You can also create a subs list, with contact information of people who are willing to sub for you if you need it.
All these capabilities are conveniently located on
a private, password-protected area, only accessible to members with active accounts.
The front end is directed to promote the Chapter
to prospect members and visitors. Information displayed
on pages such as About SBNChapters, Why Join, and How to Join can be customized to tailor your message to more
specific audiences.
The information stored on the database
is shown in sections like Members (membership list with
contact information and link to their websites), "Most
Wanted" list of categories the group is looking
to add, the Leadership Team, and Meeting Location.
Finally a convenient Contact form that
forwards request to the designated email of the group
is provided, should a visitor want to get in touch with
the group.
This product has been developed from the inside out, as our company has been a member of BNI for a number of years and has held most of the roles on the leadership team. We have also paid special attention to simplicity
and usability. Still, should support be needed, we offer
technical support through our support ticket center.
And since improvement is our goal, we are open to
suggestions about new features to be developed.
